This is THE weekend to be at Kanon Numa where the Autumn scene is famous. Unfortunately this meant that it was a bit like Lake Windermere on August bank holiday whereas every other time I've been the only person there.
It is quite nice though that people are travelling so far to see it and I only live down the road!

Hello Matt! How are you doing m'dear? It's ever so nice seeing photos of autumn in beautiful Japan...I'm looking out the windown at a drizzly autumn day here in London and it doesnt really compare. got myself some temping work in the office of an NGO working in community development. I'm a glorified office monkey but the people are friendly and it's not in the nightmarish corporate setting I'd dreaded!
Good luck with the Japanese classes, it'll be so amazing when you can chat away with people in their own language. aye, its a good feeling!
Have a good week pet,
Love Rachel x xx
p.s I missed salt and vinegar crisps when I was away...and real milk (as opposed to UHT stylee ) :-)
Matto,
The lessons sound brilliant, i'll chase you out there for a job at some point! Are you planning to take up skiing, if you're seeing snow already, then it's a good sign.
Careful of the yellow fever!
