British Hills - Round 2!

In December, over my birthday, I went to British Hills with this year's 2nd Grade. It was really nice to go back and I realised how important it is to the teachers that I'm there to help. Apparently, this one trip every year is the reason they request a British ALT. I enjoy the opportunity to teach about the UK and to show them first hand many things that they've never seen before.

Once again, the kids did great. They made friends with the foreign teachers, interviewed them with worksheets I'd given and even remembered the facts about the UK I'd taught them prior to the visit. I got to know them much better and was sad that I wouldn't be returning again next year.

For my birthday, the students made me cards and I received some wine from the other teachers. It was, once again, a lovely time.
